WIGHTLINK CONFIRMS FERRY AND FASTCAT TIMETABLES FOR 2025
Wightlink has released its timetable for 2025, but with a warning that prices are set to increase next year.
More than 39,000 crossings are timetabled across its 3 routes in line with the total number of sailings in 2024.
On the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route, there will be an additional round-trip sailing on vehicle ferries on Wednesdays (from Wednesday 2nd April to Wednesday 26th November 2025).
The FastCat foot passenger service between Ryde and Portsmouth will continue to operate 36 crossings a day, on average.
Following feedback from customers, more daytime sailings have been added on the Yarmouth to Lymington route on the busiest days of the year. By extending Wightlink’s trial 3-boat service in Summer 2024, there will be more spaces onboard for Islanders who travel using their discounted Multilink Pass tickets, as well as increased capacity overall.
Wightlink says that customers can book travel in 2025 at 2024 prices until Thursday 31st October, suggesting that prices will be going up again next year.
Phil Delaney, Wightlink’s Commercial Director, says:
“We are committed to running the fullest-possible timetable year-round for Isle of Wight residents and tourists from the mainland. We are always looking at how to schedule our ferries to meet the demand from our customers and focus our resources where they are most needed.”
