UPDATED: WIGHTLINK CANCEL YARMOUTH-LYMINGTON SAILINGS DUE TO YET MORE STAFFING ISSUES

Wightlink has been forced to cancel 8 sailings on its Yarmouth-Lymington car ferry service for Saturday (28th September) due to staffing issues.

The absence of an essential crew member means that the 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 20:00 Sailings from Lymington have been cancelled, alongside the 15:05, 17:05, 19:05 and 21:05 sailings from Yarmouth.

The cross-Solent operator sincerely apologises for the inconvenience this action may cause, but say they have been unable to source ‘short notice’ cover for the absent members of staff.

UPDATE FRIDAY – Wightlink has reinstated the cancelled sailings as they have now covered the absent essential crew member.

If your sailing time was changed due to the cancellations and you wish to move back to your original time, you can amend your booking online at www.wightlink.co.uk by logging in to your account – or by calling 0333 999 7333.
