An absence of a critical crew member has resulted in the cancellation of some sailings on the FastCat service this evening (Tuesday).

As a result of the issue, the 21:45 and 22:45 from Portsmouth and the 22:15 and 23:10 from Ryde have been cancelled.
All customers will be able to use their tickets on the Fishbourne – Portsmouth vehicle ferry service.
A Wightlink spokesperson has said:
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this action will cause but we have been unable to source short notice cover for the absent member of staff and so have taken this action as a last resort.”
