Isle of Wight Wightlink ferry cancels 8 sailings today

Several Isle of Wight ferry services have been cancelled today (Monday, December 30).

Wightlink has cancelled eight of its Fishbourne to Portsmouth car ferry services today.

From Fishbourne, the 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm crossings are all cancelled.

From Portsmouth, the 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm services have also been slashed.

Wightlink has said that they have been in touch with customers booked on each sailing.

All other services are currently running to timetable.

Meanwhile, Red Funnel has cancelled two morning sailings tomorrow (Tuesday, December 31) due to essential maintenance on the Red Osprey.

Red Funnel’s car ferry’s 4.30am crossing from Southampton and 6am crossing from East Cowes have been cancelled.

Red Funnel said in a statement: “We are currently moving affected traffic and contacting impacted customers directly with their new crossing times.

“If this new time is not suitable, you may request an alternative or cancel your booking via our amend / cancellation page.”
