Isle of Wight ferry services cancelled tomorrow morning

An Isle of Wight ferry service has cancelled two morning crossings tomorrow (Tuesday, December 31) due to essential maintenance.

Red Funnel’s car ferry’s 4.30am crossing from Southampton and 6am crossing from East Cowes have been cancelled.

Essential maintenance is required on Red Osprey, the ferry company has said.

Red Funnel said in a statement: “We are currently moving affected traffic and contacting impacted customers directly with their new crossing times.

“If this new time is not suitable, you may request an alternative or cancel your booking via our amend / cancellation page.”

Meanwhile, eight Wightlink services have been cancelled today (Monday, December 30).

From Fishbourne, the 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm crossings are all cancelled. 

The 10.30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm sailings from Portsmouth are also off. 

All other services are currently running to timetable.
