FASTCAT CANCELLATIONS FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AS BOARDING RAMP WORKS CONTINUE
Further maintenance work on the boarding ramp at Wightlink’s Portsmouth Harbour terminal has led to the cancellation of 2 late night Fastcat sailings on Thursday.
The 22:45 sailing from Portsmouth Harbour and the 23:10 sailing from Ryde Pier Head have been cancelled to allow engineering teams access to complete works on the ramp, the same as last Wednesday.
All booked customers can use their tickets and passes to travel on earlier FastCat sailings or on the Portsmouth-Fishbourne car ferry service, if preferred.
A shuttle bus service will be in operation to transport customers to and from Ryde Pier Head and Fishbourne to ensure all customers are able to travel as required.
For the 23:05 Fishbourne-Portsmouth, customers are advised to arrive at Ryde Pier Head by 22:40 for the shuttle bus service to Fishbourne. For those travelling on the 23:59 Portsmouth-Fishbourne, the shuttle bus service will depart Fishbourne at 00:50 to Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head.
The shuttle bus service will arrive and depart to the pickup and drop off layby at Fishbourne.
